I'm not sure why you say it won't be readable as lime green, it's perfectly fine here. The vds IDE defaults to lime green with a white background which is exactly how the forum displays it as well - ...

personaly dark green is appropiated
cause this phpBB forum default theme is in clear colors.

If you let this actual green, it won't be very readable.
