Is it possible to use ActiveX Controls (.ocx) in VDS programs? I found an OCX that is for making a Print Preview...it said it would be useful for Delphi users and users of VB, etc.

Would it be possible to use it or would it not work?

Hi,

I just looked at the OCX , and yes it looks good. But its not free. Crying or Very sad If it would have been free I could have done a DLL supporting that OCX
on my free time (currently working on 2 VDS DLL Very Happy )

It 's 49.99$ for commercial use.

If you find another OCX similar to that and its free let me know
Wink

Would a dll be ActiveX file specific or could there be a dll that would just let you use ActiveX controls?

It is not a question of free vs. pay for this specific ActiveX control, but rather a questions of can you use ActiveX with VDS?

In order to call any activex control from VDS you'll need some sort of dll to call the activex control first. There is no way to call it directly from vds itself to my knowledge.
