|
|
Hi,
FINDSTR.EXE is included with Windows 2000 and XP, but for Windows 9x and ME, its apparently in the Tools folder (Resource Kit).
Can someone share that file with me please if you have it?
I sold my Win98 CD a while back...
Thanks in advance, |

Hi Marty,
I think I have what you're looking for. It might take me awhile to locate
my Win98 CD. When I do, if someone else hasn't found it for you, I'll
upload it. _________________ Bill Weckel

Hi Marty,
I've gone thru my WIndows 98 SE cd, and can't find findstr.exe. I'm on
someone elses computer running Windows XP, so I cannot install the
resource kit to be sure that it is there. _________________ Bill Weckel

Hey Marty,
I just reinstalled the Win98 resource kit to my computer and I am unable
to locate FINDSTR.exe or anything similiar to it. I've also double checked
my WIN98 CD to be sure that it wasn't there either. _________________ Bill Weckel
