Hi guys,

Could some of you possible download and try my New Program. I will give those people who have Beta tested the program for me, a Full Registered Copy.

The program is Called: Web Protector 1.2

What is Web Protector?
-----------------------------------------------

Web Protector is the New Updated version of the popular
freeware program Internet Explorer Protector from MET.

Web Protector is a small utility that will restrict
certain features of Microsoft's Internet Explorer. Which means it
is ideal for a Educational Enviroment.

Web Protector FEATURES include:

* Password Protected

* Control and Restrict the following:

Lock the Homepage
Stop Users Downloading Files
Disable Favorities
Disable Right Click
Disable Saving
Disable Printing
Disable View Source
Disable History
Disable Internet Options
Disable Opening HTML files (Locally)
No downloading of any Files....
and much much more....

Web Protector also features a monitoring system, which
will allow you to monitor the computer and internet when
Internet Explorer is running. Web Protector will create
and modify a log file. (you decide were to store it).

Web Protector will also take a print screen only when the
Internet Title of a Site changes. (again you decide were to
store the Jpgs, Bmps, or Gif images)

Allow Web Protector to run freely, if you decide no-one will
even know Web Protector is installed never mind running....
By Hiding it in Task Manager and using SKA.

Compatiable with Windows:
95,98,ME,NT,2000,XP

*Disable Ctrl+Alt+Del and Hide in Task Manager cannot be used
with NT,2000 and XP.

==========================================
What is Stealth & SKA Technology?

STEALTH TECHNOLOGY:

Stealth Technology is where an administrator can run a Hidden
program with no Task Icon or shorcuts in the menus.

SKA TECHNOLOGY (Secret Key Activation):

SKA Technology is where an administrator can run a Hidden
program with no Task Icon or shorcuts in the menus. And the ONLY
way to access the Program is to use a series of Hot Keys eg.

Hold down: Ctrl and Alt and press B once.

This version is FULLY Functional with a 28 Day Trial Period (Thanks to VDS Forum), All information includeing:

Setttings, Restrictions, Policys, Registration Information, Program Informtaion, & Trial Period Data is Encrypted Via maths, Blowfish & MD5 Checksum to try and make it very secure.

Well, I installed it on my Win98se box and I press Ctrl+Alt+B and nothing happens. It didn't make the shortcut to uninstall the program.
It is a good idea and I would be happy to help test it. The hotkey bug needs fixed though. Smile

How do I uninstall it now?

I am going to make a few changes to the program, and use Wise Installer as the one I wrote seems to have a few bugs. You can still download the current version:

http://www.metni.net/files/WP.zip

I will post a new link soon with the updated version....
