I still cannot understand all that secrecy, smoke, and mirrors - it simply beats me. Image
MS putting out a new OS without revealing the basics of the new stuff.
Perhaps ETA is so undercover that the whole thing will be DOA

I couldn't agree with ya more Dread. Most of the major software companies
go outta their way to promote new products long before they are released.
I don't understand all the smoke and mirrors myself. _________________ Bill Weckel

To put things in perspective, how many copies of VDS 4 do you think were sold for $99? Enough to make for all the smoke and mirrors? If it was only a few hundred copies it would be sad. |

Yeah, but I kinda thought positive comments would be the goal...
Also - a little information might save developers from wasting time on
DLL functions that are gonna be standard features in a new release.

They could still be developed for us that won't upgrade
BTW. I'm not for the smoke and mirrors, but I am for arguing about things _________________ -Sheep

Ok, you've all spoken, and the powers that be have allowed me to at least give you a brief of VDS 5... Yes, I admit and Say VDS 5.
I just got home from work here, and I need to figure out what I'm going to write up for all of you here, and when ready, I'll start a new thread on this.
If I don't get this done tonight, then I'll have up by midday tomorrow.
