Hi Everyone,
I've been working on converting some IBasic code to VDS that calls
a DLL that is able to create/extract CAB and ZIP files.
Download either of the two files, they are exactly the same, but
both were created with the example!

Enjoy!

- Terry Reese for the CAB10.DLL library.
- CodeScript for helping me find a mistake in my code. _________________ FreezingFire

I'm planning on making a DSU file that just uses this script to make
it more user-friendly. All you need is to remember to include the DLL,
it's required by the DSU.
Anyway, I know the interface is actually pretty bad for the demo
version but I converted it exactly from an IBasic source example
that came with the DLL. I did add in extracting from CAB files to
the VDS example though even though it was not included in the
IBasic example.
I'm glad you guys like it.
I think it's kind of cool, and there's not a lot of easy CAB encoders
available on the internet. Now I can make my own. _________________ FreezingFire

Really Cool FreezingFire!
I allways hated the CAB extract command, since you are limited to 1 file at a time
Where and how much is your registered version if availible yet?
Creating CABs will really be nice..
Great Job

Hi vtol777,
This is free source code for the taking
I just wrote a script to call a library I found on the internet.
Click one of the links in the first post to download the complete package
with source code and the extension library.
You have to have VDS 5 or above to use the source code though. _________________ FreezingFire

Hi
I think this(FF's CAB project) is an important VDS project as far as being helpful here.
Its been allmost a year and I was anxiously wondering if you did anything new to your CAB creator/extractor FF? |

Nope I've done all I pretty much can with this example.
I hope you have found it useful however. _________________ FreezingFire
