How can i get the MAC ID of a network device.

Also, can i see the amount of bytes in and out of that device, no the information, but just the bytes sent and received

I don't know if you can use the MS-DOS command ipconfig for it? Over here it gives me the MAC address of all connections I have, but I don't know if it will give the address of a network device... Confused

Also you can download this free utility from microsoft.

http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/techinfo/reskit/tools/existing/getmac-o.asp

It's about 600Kb but once installed you can simply copy the getmac.exe file and run that which is only 11kb
