If you have your Windows Explorer browse options set so that when you dbl click on a folder, it opens in the SAME window ( I think most people do ), then you may be interested in this little piece of code. Compile it and put the exe (or a link to it) in your Windows\SendTo directory. In windows explorer, R-Click on a Folder and select Sendto Appname. The selected folder opens in a new window the same size as the original and to the right of it. Tested on Win95. I'll test on ME when I get home. Let me know what you think. It's kind of handy, but perhaps some of you real programmers have a better idea.
| Code: | Title wind
%W = @winactive()
%%Top = @winpos(%W,T)
%%Wid = @winpos(%W,W)
%%Hgt = @winpos(%W,H)
window position,%W,%%Top,64,%%Wid,%%hgt
run explorer.exe %1
%K = 10000
repeat
%A = @winactive()
if @not(@equal(%A,%W))
goto available
end
%K = @pred(%K)
until @zero(%K)
:available
if @winexists(%A)
window position,%A,%%Top,@sum(%%Wid,74),%%Wid,%%Hgt
end
:close
