Hello all,
I have a strange problem. Here it goes.
When I use Tommy VDSBLEND.dll or CodeScripts VDS 5.0 Transparent example to add transparency to a window. The window initially becomes transparent but as soon as you click on the window or move it. The window resorts back to normal. The same code executed on a different machine, 2000 or XP everything works fine. I know it's a machine issue but I was hopping someone knows a quick registry tweaks or something. |

Not sure, but could it have something to do with your display preferences? _________________ FreezingFire

I don't know if there is a key in registry to disable Layered windows (but might well be). You might try a utility like Tweak UI to find if some such registry settting exists.
On XP/?2k U may try this (although there is no such item in the options).
Press Winkey+Break to bring up "System Properties" Dialog -> goto Advanced Tab and under performance Settings -> Select "Adjust for Best Appearance"
See if that helps. _________________ Regards

No luck, but it's not a huge issue as long as it works on my client systems. My system has dual monitors so with the two different video cards it could be a multitude of things. RELOAD seams like a quick answer to me.
Thanks for the Ideas.. |
