Congrats
It must feel great surfing the net. I remember when I first got cable and it was sooooo much faster than dialup; and the fact I didn't get disconnected every 5 minutes. |

Yeppers, congrats!
FYI: Due to hurricane Ivan, we have been without cable access for over a month. (Just got it back a couple of days ago or so.) Because we have been using dialup, the fast access was sorely missed...
Cheers,

I'm jealous of you -- my ADSL connection is only a 1 Mbps connection
Actually I do wish it was faster, I might sound kind of greedy though. _________________ FreezingFire

I've made some major steps lately also. Went from a 1 Mbps to a 3 Mbps
connect. Along with that, I was finally able to upgrade my pc from 750
Mhz to 2200 Mhz, and from 256 Mb Ram to 512 Mb of Ram.
I'm quite happy now! I'm also running LiteSTEP as my shell now, and
using the KDE theme and the Plastik visual style and icons. System looks
just like a KDE box now.

In the following screen shot, all apps running are VDS made apps, except
the kde task bar which is LiteSTEP.

Garrett, I might have a little idea for the most-right program on that screenshot... I know you posted about it, but I don't remember the name. I believe you got the values over there by using the "netstat" command. If you add the "-o" parameter to it, you can also make a list of which port is used by which program.... _________________ [ Add autocomplete functionality to your VDS IDE windows! ]
