Does anyone know an easy way to read and parse XML files and put the data into variables? Perhaps there is an extension out there that could help?
What I want is to make something that reads RSS feed files.

What I do is use an internet extension to download the rss file locally.
Then I parse the output with string.dll and remove all the formatting and tags, etc.
Then I use string.dll again to parse it out and save it to a txt file and then the application reads the information from the text file without the extra garbage and is now useable in the application. That may help. Although inefficient it does work.

Yeppers, that is something I have considered. I was hoping for some kind of .dll or dsu to make things as easy and streamlined as possible. GeoTrail beat me to the question. (I had been meaning to post an inquiry along the same lines.)

FYI: I just love the string.dll. One of the best VDS .dlls around. Cool

Cheers,

- Boo
