Hello,

I want to make an application which has to communicate with an offline MySQL-server. I've found many posts about vdsmysql, which I haven't tried yet because I did not have the time for that now.

Included with the MySQL-server there's a DLL called libmysqld.dll. I'd like to know if you can use this DLL from within VDS 3.5 (The version I use). Beside that I'd like to know if someone knows where I can get the API for it if it should work.

OR if you have another DLL for MySQL (hopefully freeware), don't hestitate to tell me... I couldn't find any...

Tommy Sools made a VDS DLL which is able to connect to MySQL servers, the VDSDLL3. You can download it from the main site... Smile
