|
Hi
I think I've read all the articles on this subject, but I still have some questions.
I have a program that I will attempt to sell in the near future(its done today), but I want to play around with a keycode or simular lock.
Are most reading the HD serial and then sending that info back to HQ, and then creating a keycode with his or her name - etc.. ? |

HD serial could be the way to go, but keep in mind if they ever change their HD, they will need a new key.
Some people use the MAC address also, but that might change more often than a HD. _________________ -Sheep

Thanks SnarlingSheep - appreciate your time!
well,
what good is VDS if we can't find a way to create a key for it?
I'm sure I can write the key procedure, but I have no idea of what to hook into as far as what to connect all pieces of the strategy.
It would be easier prolly just to pay someone for there top notch approximate step by step plan.
I'm stumped for ever at the moment |

What would you connect it to, something like the CPU serial?
Or is there something else outside the box? |
