I have been a loyal vds user since i bought vds3.51, vds4 and vds5
and i now feel that when vds6 comes out i will not purchase it because:
I contacted CR to request a username and password to access the reg users area, over 6 months ago.
I posted a message to this forum and they responded and asked me for my serial number etc, which i gave them and again 3 months or so on and no response.
I even asked Garret to contact them for me and he did but again no response.
I really feel CR are letting themselves and a great product down. And i have to be really convinced to purchase vds6 or CR extensions.
So, that is why i have put my programs up for auction/trade because i don't see the point in contining with vds if they can't respond to their loyal customers.
I have purchase a lot of products/extensions through my time on this forum and vds and the support from the authors of the extensions (inc the free ones) is second to none.
Yours
Whats the point?

That sounds extremely frustrating. I agree that VDS is a great product. I am hopeful that these types of problems may be fixed. _________________ Joe Floyd |

I really think CR is neglecting its products and customers which is a shame.
The product (vds) is fine but a better home for this fine product would be more than welcome.
With response times as long as this no one will take you serious as a business partner.
I agree that although I'm eager to get my hands on VDS 6 I will need some concincing before sending CR any money.
They will have to guarantee to a correct serial in a reasonable time (couple of days).
It would be a shame if this great product would die because of neglect by the owners.

Rubes_sw,
Have you tried?
Going to the [link removed by moderator]
Registered Users Area and clicking on the
Forgot your login, your password, both ? Click here.
You will need the email address that you used to register VDS 5 with. If you PM me the information you gave to Garrett I can try giving it to CR again. I just chatted with the owner 2 days ago and I from time to time chat with them. I would be happy to give them you info the very next time I catch them online.
[moderator note: please don't post the registered user's area link in public, thanks!] _________________ Home of

Rubes_sw,
I just had the Registered Users area send me my login information. My information came right to my email address with no issues. _________________ Home of

I no longer have access to the email address i registered vds with, and that was explpained to CR.
I provided them with my serial no. and the date of purchase and my new email address.
