For the script I am writing for a school, I need to use a part of the VDSDLL27. Is this DLL freeware to distribute? It says that you obtain a license to use the DLL, but is that also to re-distribute it or just to use it for personal use? Confused

It's better to be safe than sorry...

Thank you for asking this. The VDSDLL V2.7, on the contrary of V3.0 and up, has become freeware for any use, although it used to be shareware. The DLL hasn't been updated for this, so you'll have to use the "Public Freeware Key" as mentioned in the helpfile, which has been updated for this change.

In the license agreement it also says:

"You are granted a limited free-of-charge license that gives you full rights to use the software."

So that means you can just use it.
