I think a good thing that someone should write is a tutoial for making extensions that add elements on to the VDS dialog. If not a tutorial, at least some commented source code. _________________ FreezingFire

| Take a look at the vdssave extension, the code was given to me by Tommy. It shows how to add an IMAGE onto the Windows screensaver preview window take a look at the source for a basic understanding on how to draw controls onto other windows. |

Please note that that only demonstrates one way of accomplishing this, maybe similar
to Mac's draw.dll approach. Another way is using the CreateParented method in Delphi
or setting the ParentWindow property, although that's not possible with all control kinds
(it only works for windowed controls, actually). The Windows API call SetParent
(Windows.SetParent in Delphi) may also be helpful.
