One of my parting clients is seeking the help of anyone available for converting the form and statistics/settings cgi programs of the web site they have from me.

What I had were vds made exe's for NT/2000 servers. The form program took the information in, and sent it out to an email address that was set in the settings cgi program. It also took the area code of the phone number given in the form and searched a text file database and grabbed the location of the area code and then matched the location up to another entry in another text database file and then sent information from that db with the form being sent to the site owner.

There is also a counter exe which was activated by ssi and took in the IP, referer and any GET method strings.

The statistics/settings program would reflect monthly and daily statisics gathered by the counter program. The settings part of the program allowed the site owner to edit a few things on their site, such as keywords, description and such.

If anyone takes on the php job, I'll provide the VDS source codes so you can possibly understand what I have going on this person's site.

If interested in taking this on, please contact the client directly and discuss the project and any potential fee's for doing this for them.

Laurent, thanks, but two have already come forward and taken it on.

I would also like to say thank you to the idiot who went into the settings of my site and did what I asked that everyone not do, which is to mess with it and save the bogus settings.

Do you realize what you have just done to me?? I'm going out of business and trying to keep from being kicked out of my house. You just took sales away from me that might have paid my rent!!!

I just lost hundreds of dollars in money that would have paid the rent to keep my wife and 3 kids in a house!

It hurts me enough already that I'm going out of business, but then to have someone come in and kick me like that when I'm already hurting and to screw my source of money like that.... I'm avoiding trying to say the words I really want to say here... I have helped others almost all my life, and most of the time have never asked for anything in return. I have literally given the shirt off my back even when I couldn't afford it. Then to have someone do something so immature and mean like this. Never mind, it's probably useless as the person who did that will probably not even have remorse or have any care in regards to hurting others around them.
