Hi guys,

I'm a little confused - I cannot create a dialog by using the tool Dialog Designer ?! Shocked
I run it (F2 or from context menu), I set up any properties, then I click on OK and - end of masquerade Confused

In general I create it by using script. Now because I'm testing new things in VDS6 running on Vista I found out this odness and it is already second oddness. The first is "Run time error 37 at line 21" in Tip of the Day directly after start of VDS.
Any idea? Thanks!

it burnt its little....(never mind)

Just on a hunch... do you have any "old" VDS runtime dll's in your path? (such as vdsrun50.dll, which should be version 5.1.0.124)

Good luck,
Hooligan

Hi Hooligan,

It was pretty hot story (in your version) Razz
----------------------------------------------------

I installed VDS6 on my new "clear" laptop. No old files were there.

A good message is that it is running right today (unawares) Shocked
A bad message is that I don't understand it at all.

But the second error (by Tip of the day) is persisting - I begin to get into it ...

Hello,

I think you don't have the latest binaries.

Try to find your download email you received at registration time and click again to download. You'll get the latest build.

The Designer returning nothing can be explained by a wrong installation not using the allowed directory by Vista.

Please try to reinstall with the latest build and if you still experience difficulties, email me at support@dialogscript.com, we'll try to find out why this doesn't work for you.

Cordially
