Can VDS6 update a paletted 8-bit PCX with a different palette?

I would like to be able to do this in my VDS5 or VDS6 program on th fly.

I need to change the 216 colors for all images.
Icould convert the PCX to a basic GIF format with DLL.
Then editing the GIF file with VDS to change each value.
Is this posible or too much trouble?
