Since the Blowfish Algorithm supposedly hasn't been cracked, why don't we use it in the VDS EXE? The idea would be to make the VDS Output executables absolutely decompilable, maybe by creating an absolutely random password to decrypt the script, but encrypt it with Blowfish. This way no one would know the password to decrypt it, and other encryption could also encrypt the script also.

I do not currently use registration routines in my VDS executables, because it would make it easy for someone to find out how to bypass my registration. If the encryption was kicked up a notch, I might re-consider this.

In my next version of VDSReg it uses a dll that uses the blowfish encryption to create registration keys. It will be released within the 3-4 days.

In my opinion, piracy protection is kinda overrated. Minimum
protection will stop most "wanna be" hacker/crackers, and
there's really no way to keep the pros out...

No matter what your "protection" is, a good disassembler
will still convert the running program to machine code... Sad
