Many other software developement suites have a versioning system to track and organize versions of code as it is updated. This would be a very welcome feature in VDS!
Perhaps even an external system could be developed independent of the VDS IDE... but it would be most effective if it was integrated into VDS.
Any thoughts on this? Am I the only one who has trouble remembering to save backup copies of code when I'm updating it? |

I could really use that idea too as i also get lost with versions of my code and sometimes lose track when i do lots of changes over several weeks.

Hmmm.... Ya could write a tiny frontend to start VDS that
would ask if this is new/updated project before it actually
opens VDS. It could either exit afterwards, or popup at
certain intervals.
It'd be a reminder at least.
