Hi

It's been over 2 years since we worked on Pixy Professional, but we have now re-written and re-designed what we think is a great utility.

Now faster, better stability and more functions and features than ever we fell that any programmer or designer could not do without our Pixy Professional

Download now:

ps. All VDSWORLD members can get a FREE registration, just email me your name, email and the program serial number (found in the program options)

Does not work on a multi-screen system. The mouse pointer can move to another screen but the pixy box remians in the main screen?!

Sounds a great little utility..

But with this version, I dont seem too know how to use it. I see it follow my mouse pointer (which is really cool btw), how do I capture? Get the colour? No help file with it?

Also, I think you should not allow more than one instance of Pixy running Smile

Their is a help file in the program dir, I forgot to put the link in the program group in the menu. (will fix that and upload).

Quick Program Functions:

Default Settings:

Exit = Ctrl+Shift+x
Screen Capture = Ctrl+Shift+s
Options = Ctrl+Shift+p

Copy to clipboard = Ctrl+Shift+c
Clear Clipboard = Ctrl+Shift+w

Hotkeys are configured in the pixy.ini file in the program dir.

But you can not make changes manually to the pixy.ini unless the program is registerd Smile

Accray:

I must check into this, as it did work on my multi screen.

I tested it on a 128Mb ATI Radeon Graphics Card with DVI out (converted to VGA) so two vga outputs and using the ATI panel to extend the desktop over to 19" dell TFT's

I will check it again.

Nathan

ps. So feedback is good ?

OK,

Updated to 3.2.1

Fixed small bug: If you try to run Pixy more than once, you can close the current running Pixy or exit.

Added the Help File to the Start Menu Group in the installer.

It's little bit slow...

A tray support will be nice for exit and other stuff...

Hi

I thought i would finally release an updated version of Pixel Professional, i have been using this version for the past 6 months and i think its great.

Theres more functions and features, it loads faster, reports colours and the zoom if faster, the Hotkeys work faster and its got a nice new TaskIcon and Menu Options including: Configurable Zoom, Zoom on/off, Screen Capture and Colour Pixel Capture.

I would really love feedback on this before i release it upon the world. It's in a zip file, i have not created the installer for it yet.

Also anyone who likes it, i'll give them a free copy (only VDS Forum members)

Download from: http://www.active-ware.co.uk/files/pixypro/pixy.zip
Download size: 1.04Mb, Installed Size: 4.32Mb

Regards

Nathan

Nice, Nathan. A lot of the option seem to be disabled (in demo mode?).

While trying to work out how to do a screen capture I opened the pdf help file from the tray icon's menu. While the pdf file was opening pixy was leaving a trail of 'pixies' (?) whenever I moved the mouse. I had to exit pixy to stop it (as the 'follow mouse' option is disabled).

Can I please get a registered copy.

BTW looking at your website I noticed, under the 'What our clients think, The Saint Patrick Centre" the centre director has made a typo "We also invlove Activeware in our web site projects..." but I guess seeing as it's a quote of what he wrote you can't really correct his spelling.

Hi Dave

Yes, there are limited options in the DEMO/Trial version, due to i want to try and promote this program and generate some sales. It's only $9.95 ($20.00).

Anyway anyone who wants to feature the program on their own site, and any sales generated from their site, i'll give you a commission on the sale Wink

Ps. We are currently finishing our New Web Site with a full online purchase and registration system, so if you purchase one of our programs online, you'll get you key instantly.

Hi

Updated Pixy again (still version 4)

No Bugs (which is great)

But added the following:

Added Hide/Show Pixy to the TaskIcon Menu, so you can keep Pixy running but hide the Mouse Follow Dialog.

Added some New Hotkeys:

Show/Hide Pixy, Zoom on/off, Mouse Follow, Close Pixy.

Added a Option so you can modify the Hotkeys.

And created the Installer

Download from: http://www.active-ware.co.uk/files/pixypro/setup.exe

Also re-designed my web site with an instant Registration Facility, so i can take payement and generate a Pixy Pro activation key online.

Regards

Nathan
