May be tricky as I perhaps need to supply the command-line app as well unless I can construct another which reports exactly what RUN is passing to it with, and without, @filedlg being executed.

It's strange but this DLL crashes the IDE every time but causes no complaints when running as a compiled executable. |

I just found the Thumbnail Image Viewer (viewer.dsu) which appears to be everything I want but.... it keeps crashing on exit. The ReadMe file suggests that it was fixed but it is crashing for me on XP ... |

Sorry to ask such a stupid question but I see lots of hyperlinks in the VDS Help file that says 'See a more advanced example' only that clicking on these do nothing. Well, for me, it does nothing.
