They are only 16x16

You can use it if you have a lot of small buttons bellow menu...

Some time back i send request to artist student from Bangladesh and he created for me all icons that i need Surprised

You can find this fun making themes for windows people on this site:

i have a non-vds question about these icons

if i look at some of them by using explorer set to thumbnails, then these icons are round

if i look at those round ones in irfanview or in a web editor, they are not round anymore but hexagonal

any idea why this happens?

serge

Hi Serge,

Good point.

Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that the icons are in .PNG format? Try saving the icons to bitmap files before using within applications, etc.

Cheers,

Hey Serge,

I think it has something to do with the differences in the libraries used
between the different programs for the display of the image. For example,
I know of two different programming libraries for working with .png files.

To my knowledge, the only formats that are consistant between programs,
are the bitmap, windows metafile, and icon formats. Converting the .png
format to .bmp, .wmf, or .ico will most likely have more desireable results. Smile

no good bill

i suspected that if it opened it hexagonal then it would convert it hexagonal and that it was it did ... i would need a program that 'sees' them as circular and that allowed me to convert them to gif or jpg

never mind ... nice try Very Happy

Hi Serge,

As you know, although a bit inconvenient, you could always use a screen-capture utility and capture each icon (i.e. from the Windows Explorer thumbnail view) to the desired file format--and then edit each accordingly. You could do it on the fly, as you need each icon.

Cheers,

- Boo
