Let me guess.. You use either Outlook, Outlook Express or Incredimail.
I've been watching this new trojan/virus at work now for I think a week..
I don't use an email client that is capable of executing the attachments or
any inline html code, so I don't get hit by these. But I've noticed that this
new one is starting to get some serious penetration now.
I'd suggest looking into either making your own email program, or getting
something like PocoMail (http://www.pocomail.com) which is less likely to
get you infected by these trojans and virii.
I still use ZoneAlarm Pro, which will rename the file extentions of all
attachements. And PocoMail doesn't use MSIE as it's viewer, but it does
use a browser element. Probably something like the vdshtml.dll browser
element. Something that's a bit limited. For me though, I can't stand
html email, so a limited html viewer for my email is just fine for me.

I've been using Bat Email Client...great program I think.
Been using it for 4 years. Has great feature for business purposes.
Price starts at 25.00 Student and 45.00 for Business use.
