|
|
Hello All,
I am attempting to utilize Tommy's vdsdb.dll to connect to a remote database. In order to do so I must specify the port. I see the odbc data source creates properly (all but the port number). Is there an option that can be added to the setup command to allow for the port number?
Code: |
DB SETUP,"ODBC Driver",DSN=MYTEST,UID=user,PWD=password,DataDirectory=,DBQ=
|
Something Like
DB SETUP,"ODBC Driver",DSN=MYTEST,UID=user,PWD=password,DataDirectory=,DBQ=,port=####??? _________________ - Woody |

I have discovered that I can just create the necessary registry keys for the ODBC Data Source and bypass using the DB SETUP command. Or simply use the DB SETUP command then edit the registry key to push the port number.
Thanks, _________________ - Woody |
