Why is ability to sort by column:
Code:
LIST SORT,<list>{,<column>}

reserved for TABLE elements?

Why not make this available to all lists?

The numbered string lists are internal and invisible which do not support
columns and the native windows list control does not support columns
either.

You can sort a list by creating the list with this command... Smile

Code:
list create,<listnumber>,sorted

Sometimes I use the lists as simple CSV databases.

So, while the lists items are perhaps columnless (unlike a true array), by inserting delimiters and reading back the data with the PARSE command I can achieve the same effect.

I guess I took it for granted that this was pretty common.
