Hi All
My IDE has gone wrong! I tried to do an F2 on the DIALOG CREATE
line in my script so I could adjust the GUI. I get an ERROR 14 at line
119 and then ERROR 33 at line 467. The weird thing is there is no
line 119 on line 467 in my script! Now when I try and run the dialog
designer from scratch I get:
"Windows cannot find ...\LOCALS~1\Temp\$$$.dlg"
and the applications crashes.
Any ideas??
Thanks

the VDS IDE was written using VDS ie. the IDE is a VDS program and so the error you got refers to the IDE program itself.

Hi All
Thanks for your input, I've found the problem. We have
Intruder Prevention Software here which did not know
about VDS so it blocked it, I've made a rule which now
lets VDS run.
Interesting to know the IDE is a VDS program itself.
Thanks

Umm,
I don't think the IDE is written in VDS but rather the Dialog Designer which is DD.exe. I believe if I am not mistaken that the VDS IDE is written in Delphi. _________________ Home of
