NIL mean? Smile

I think NIL: is equivalant of C type Void i.e ()
"the void keyword specifies that the function does not return a value". - msdn

It just an empty variable/type/pointer. You can often use it to check if the value returned is empty or not.

So NIL doesn't stand for anything? Programmers just made up some letters? Confused
