Is there a IRC extention for vds or any information of making a client?

Yes IRC is possible... Using any DLL that offers TCP/IP ability. Though I'm not sure there's any IRC examples still floating around. If not, I'm sure I have one or two still sitting on my HD here and can upload them if none can be found on the VDS World site.

Anything TCP/IP based is almost possible in VDS with one of the dlls. You could in fact probably make your own IRC Server for that fact. Once I even toyed with making a Telnet Server. Though not a complete one, it was in working order.

The biggest help for doing something like these though is learning the RFC's regarding them.

Im gunna start looking in to all the things i need to know and see if i can make myself a cool client, and maybe even a server later.
