Hi,
I registered online for VDS 5.01 a few days ago and as of yet I have not recieved my key or a single confirmation email off either commercial research or the payment company they use.
There live support is always offline I have left messages but have not got a reply, are commercial research still functioning? |

Yes, they are still there. But staff there is limited these days.
If you do not get any news soon, email support@dialogscript.com

| Ok I emailed support@dialogscript and still no reply!! I guess I will have to get in touch with my credit card company and they will have to recover the money from them. I have been using VDS 3,4,5 and finally decided to register so I am pretty dissapointed that I can not use this great product. |

It's a disappointing thing to see this happen, but don't give up! I got my
VDS 5 registration and it's awesome, even if support does seem somewhat
slow these days
It's worth the wait, trust me _________________ FreezingFire

If you didn't receive a reply from the merchant company that took the registration fee, as you first stated, it may be that the transaction was rejected by the system for some reason. If that's the case, Commercial Research won't have received a notification either. If they haven't responded, they might think that you're "trying it on" in the hope that somebody might issue a code without checking. Believe it or not, people do try this.
I think you should get on to the merchant company first of all, to see if they have a record of the transaction. If the transaction was valid, Commercial Research is probably in breach of its agreement with the company to deliver the product within 2 working days, and the company could suspend the service. Because of that, I'm sure that CR would have responded if they had received notification from the merchant company of your purchase. _________________ The Tech Pro

I agree with jules - contact the facility you ordered from.
Mistakes can happen. When I registered VDS 3 (via a
phone call to regnet), the person taking my order put
a "&" instead of a "@" in my email address.
It took several days (and calls to regnet) before someone
found the mistake - then my key was emailed in a few
hours.
Cheers, Mac _________________ VDSug.dll does file IO, check/disable menu items,

lol
You must have luck like mine, MAC..
One time I had Sprint long distance phone service for a decade to save up bonus points credit(forget what it was called), and I called them to cancel, since there long distance service was about 60% higher than every one else back then, and they said, Oh, we're sorry, we can't find any of your records here, unfortunately all your records just got lost on our computers
And I had enough points to get a real nice TV
I have many true storys like that
You just gotta stay tough I guess.. |

Ok I resubmitted the order as it has not appeared on my credit card, this time I got a confirmation email off 2checkout.com, but when I clicked the button to notify commercial research I got the following: (The same as the screen I got the first time I tried to order)
(ref: )
Your order number is:
Depending on the product you registered, please allow up to 24 hours; 48 hours maximum to receive your registration.
If you purchased one or more support packs, the representative which instructed you to the order form will contact you shortly in regards to the support pack need...
Again thank you for purchasing!
Do you think the order has still gone through even though the order and ref number are blank?
Thanks |

| Just sent commercial research another email to double check if the order is on the system. Though to be honest I am not expecting a response even if CR thought I was pulling there leg it is wrong to assume without following up. |

If you sent your original enquiry to support@dialogscript.com that may not have been the right place to get an answer about your sales issue. I agree you should have got a response, but it's a fact of life that if someone receives an email they don't know how to answer, they often just go on to the next one and it gets forgotten. _________________ The Tech Pro

If you would like I can try to forward the support e-mail directly to the
owner of VDS. _________________ FreezingFire

I haven't received an email for this from you on my side. But I only get
half of the support emails, so someone else may have your email.

I am hoping I will receive my key today though still no response, as of yet. I hope I do because I have a 400 line program that I have been working on for months and it will have to be scrapped if I cannot compile it.
Thanks for everyones support. |
