|
|
Tommy's vdsreg.dll (part of vdsdll.dll) is wonderful for remote registry viewing and editing but can it be used with list regkeys and list regvals?
CURUSER cannot be accessed remotely (at least, not on our network) but USERS can. Unfortunately, USERS lists the current user only by SID. It would be easy enough to get the SID with list regkeys, if the DLL supported it. Does it? If not, does anyone have a workaround? Does anyone know another way to access CURUSER data remotely? 8O |

This is not possible so far using my DLL, however I think this could still be implemented
in the DLL. I'll move this post to the Wish List section to remind me

Here's version 1.4 of the VDSREG DLL:
http://www.vdsworld.com/files/vdsreg.zip
Please note that I won't repackage the VDSDLL 3 yet for this minor change.
The following functions have been added:
@REGEDIT(ENUMKEYS)
@REGEDIT(ENUMVALS)
These will return either all subkeys or all subvalues of the current registry key,
separated by @CR() characters, so that you could combine it with LIST ASSIGN.
Please note that the maximum number of characters which may be returned
is 65536.
