Ok another day has passed and still no key!! I will give it till the end of Wednesday after that I have no option but to condact my credit card company (I have been charged for it because it is on my statement) and they will have to investigate.
If any managers of commercial research are reading this, fantastic product but the registration system needs an overhaul. Surely being the creators of dialogscript you could automate a key sending system even if it is only a 14 day key or something.

I just had an email from Emmanuel, the owner of VDS. He says that both a reply to your support email and your registration key were sent yesterday. If you haven't received them by now, perhaps your ISP has over-enthusiastic spam filters. _________________ The Tech Pro

Yay!!! I finally got my key, thank you CR! I can now get on with my compiles.
As for the email being delayed I will investigate that. I am the system administrator for the email system where I work  |

Hi,
I got that same page after registration. I noticed that it has JS errors too.
I wonder how long it will take to get my key?
I hope to use VDS to automate scripts in my work. I've looked a little at WSH and decided it's overly complex. And DOS batch isn't quite enough.
I was VERY surprised, now that I looked, that CR doesn't have a phone number!
Do you think I should send an e-mail to support or will they get around to sending the key on their own? (I did get the confirmation e-mail from their billing agent, 2CheckOut.com.) |

You won't find a phone number for Tech-Pro on my website either. Like most small businesses trading on the internet, I don't have a person sitting in an office all day able to take calls. Email is much more convenient, because you can receive it wherever you are.
By putting a phone number on a website you leave yourself open to telephone spam too. If you aren't a big enough company to employ a receptionist to deal with that crap, it just isn't worth it.
I don't know when you placed your order for VDS, but you should allow two working days, in the European time zone... _________________ The Tech Pro

Sure the appropriate way to resolve such issues is by contacting Commercial Research
directly first. However if Commercial Research simply ignore people's requests, then people
couldn't do much else than bring it up here...
Unfortunately it seems that Commercial Research usually will only respond after
the issue goes public, while they didn't respond to private conversations. |

I do not believe ED (person in charge) is intentionally ignoring anyone's emails. You must understand that ED has ALWAYS had his best intentions for this software and has always provided for this community. He is currently undergoing some company issues and problems (based on information that he shared with me previously) and so the focus has to be on keeping the company from going belly up.
Certainly this does not help those that do not have their registration keys. However please be rest assured your keyfile will be sent to you once any problems are cleared up. More then likely one of their servers which handles the automated registrations has suffered a problem thus registrations are being processed manually? Again I'm not certain but am speculating as something similar to this has happened in the past and it was due to a server problem.
Sade/CR is in no way trying to rip anyone off, they provide an excellent product and are currently possibly going through some problems. Yes you may not have your keyfile and yes I would be angry too but they will process your registration keyfile soon. If you do not receive your keyfile within 7-10 days you should contact 2checkout for a refund. Then only proceed with a new purchase once sade/cr emails you back confirming they are able to handle your new order. |
