|
|
Dont know if this has been reported, but I have the exact same behavior on 3 machines when compiling, the VDS IDE closes completly. But my exe is ok.
I tried with and with XP Manifest same thing.
3 machines I tried with 2 X Windows 2K and 1 XP pro
With and without VDS DLLS.
This is very annoying.
Thanks |

I wasn't aware that it had been. There were a lot of delays in releasing 5.0.1. If the earlier build was released it was probably in a beta test version. _________________ The Tech Pro

I have version 5.0.1.114!
What are the differences between 114 and 116? _________________ Andrew GRAY

116 has more bugs fixed in it than 114 has.
I suspect that, because I have fixed bugs in the runtime, and have also been developing utilities written in VDS, some of the preliminary builds may have "leaked out" in distributions of my software. It's hard to avoid this if you know an app won't work with the buggy version...
Currently, I'm using build 5.0.2.119 which fixes the annoying problem with right-clicking in a selected element in a table. It is through no fault of mine that this version has not yet been released by CR, so please don't fill up my mailbox with complaints about it. _________________ The Tech Pro
