In that case, is there any other way to have a scrollable (up/down) window in VDS5 without using VDSCSCRL.DLL?

What you will need to do is use the DIALOG SETPOS command, and
adjust the contents of your dialog according to the position of the scrollbar.

When I'm online tomorrow I'll be able to explain more in-depth, or perhaps
someone else can. Smile

FreezingFire thanks for your reply, but what i´m trying to do is to scroll up down an image (BMP file).
I can adjust the image position using SETPOS but when the position of the image is 0 i cant setpos to negative numbers to show the final of the BMP.
Is there any way to do this?

Thanks again

You can try this example (for VDS 5 only):

http://www.vdsworld.com/files/vdscscroll2.dsc

Make sure to change the %%filename variabele to point to a bitmap file of your own.
Please realize that besides vdscscroll.dll it will also require the following file:

http://www.vdsworld.com/vdsdll/vds5/vdscimg.dll

I'm sorry for the confusion caused because of no full VDS 5 compatible package being
available yet. Vic, please wait for me to make one available, so that all the new examples
for VDS 2 and 5 will be included as well. It is really just the packaging that is still to be
done, but I want to be very sure that everything is ok with it before I release it.

Tommy
