According to the help file content for the combo element... "Data entered in the edit control is automatically inserted into the drop-down list when the focus moves away from the control."

Can someone provide a short script example of this? It doesn't seem to work. It seems to need a command such as "list add, combo1, @dlgtext(combo1)" to do it.

Unless CR made their combobox a custom control, the help file is incorrect.
It doesn't work that way in C/C++. Items must be added with the
CB_ADDSTRING or LB_ADDSTRING messages. All the edit box is for is to
allow a user to enter text that isn't provided in the drop-down list.
