Hello all,

Sorry for the long wait for this update to SSZip.Dll. I've been having more
than my fair share of personal problems over the past year or so.

There are too many changes to SSZip.Dll to list here. Please download the
update and review the help file.

I will note that this version of SSZip has been completly rewritten.

The update for SSZip.Dll can be downloaded -> HERE

One important note. This update has not been tested by anyone other than
myself. If there are any bugs found please report them to me.

Just did some first test with an old project that uses ssZip but it give an error message on the line 'SSZIP OPTION,FULLPATH,FALSE'.

Message says: 'Invalid parameter to command'

According to your help file this should be the correct syntax, any suggestions?
Also I haven't been able to let ssZip work with the ADDFOLDER parameter, all it produces is an empty zip file.
But that I have to test some more.

Great to see some life again in the ssZip project!

Very Happy
Jan

Hi Jan,

SSZIP OPTION,FULLPATH,... should be SSZIP OPTION,USEFULLPATH,...

That's strange about SSZIP ADDFOLDER,... because it works great for me.
I am running Windows XP Pro SP2. Are you trying to add files or create
the zip file in the same path as the files you are adding?

The SSZIP OPTION,FULLPATH,... was incorrect in the help file. Sorry. It
was an error on my part.

The help file has been updated. The package has been uploaded again.

I'll redownload the package to have the latest help file.

Using the ADDFOLDER function I tried to create a zip file on a different drive and folder, so that mystery remains.

I'll do some more testing this week but first I have to battle Vista who suddenly stopped recognizing any network interface. So I'm without internal network and without internet at home right now.

When I restore an image from about 14 days ago and start Vista all is well, but as soon as I reboot or shutdown Vista again looses all network connections. Maybe I should return to beautiful stable XP Sad
