Hi all,
I wanted to ask your a few questions.
I want to start two utility of Windows from VDS, SANDISK and DEFRAG.
I use in Windows 98 and ME:
1) RUN @WINDIR()SCANDSKW.EXE + /SWITCH
/X = drive letter
/A = all drive
/N = run and close SCANDISK automatically
/P = no correction automatic error
2) RUN @WINDIR()DEFRAG.EXE + /SWITCH
/ALL = all drive
/NOPROMPT = no dialog window confirmation and closing
/U = for defrag only file and no free space
/Q = for defrag only free space
/F = for defrag free space and file
/X = for defrag also system file
/H = for defrag also hidden file
3) RUN @ WINDIR () SCANREG /OPT for Windows Millennium
RUN @ WINDIR () SCANREGW for Windows 98
Now, as start the same utility in Windows NT, 2000 and XP?
Thanks in advance for a help of yours. |

Try entering "defrag" without parameters on the command-line in Windows XP so
that a list of possible parameters will appear. Instead of SCANDISK I think you'll need
CHKDSK on NT. |
