If you click the X or choose File,Exit you are prompted Do you want to save YES or NO. Most Windows programs also give you the option to CANCEL And return to your document without exiting. The ESC key should also function here.

Also, if you click Yes for an Untitled script, the Save As Dialog is displayed.
If, instead of entering a file name, you click Cancel or hit ESC, you should be returned to the script. Instead VDS exits without saving your work.

This should be a simple change and, I believe is the way the editor should function

It's already in VDS...

Code:
%R = @msgbox(Do you want to save?,Warning,$023)

You can change it with the MessageBox Designer.

Que means that when you exit VDS and haven't saved a script, there should be a Cancel option instead of a Yes or No option.

Try modifying something, click the X, and VDS will prompt you if you want to Save or Don't Save before exiting. There should be a cancel button to allow you to return to working on your project such as in notepad.
