more than Linux...

He-he. Easy to see that Mac's W95 box runs through Google a lot
And not only that - he has his own category totalling 4%

Actually, I'm using a modified Win98SE here. I started with 95 after my
main pc died, but 95 didn't have drivers for all of my cards, so pumped
it up to 98SE, then ripped the guts out of it with the program called
98Lite.

That's because out of the Win9x series, 98/98SE is the most stable version of them all. Granted, Mac has more success with 95, but his situation is unique I'm sure. And I mean that in a nice way Mac

| Sorry I got to argue with you on that one. Win 98 is by far very unstable compared to Win XP, with Win Me taking the grand prize for being the most unstable.. I just cringe thinking of the page faults and blue screens of death on Win 98 that I experienced. I think Mac has it right with Win 95, as long as all proper Window patches have been made that puppy is a nice little OS and runs fast. |

| I think Garrett was saying that out of the 9x series, 98 was better. XP, based on NT/2000 code, is much better. I have XP at home and have grown to really like it. On my laptop, I have ME and have grown to loathe it. |

Remeber now, I said "Win9x series" not "NT series".

Correct, I was talking only of the 9x series and not the NT based series. And regarding ME. It is the most unstable of all!! It's quite a shame too, as it had some wonderful improvements, but I think the unstability killed any chance of anyone enjoying the improvements they added. That, and the huge resource leak problem that ME has.
